According to the requirements of the Overall Plan on COVID-19 Infection of "Category B disease and Category B treatment", the measures will be optimized for Chinese and foreigner exchanges today, including canceling COVID-19 testing and centralized isolation of all personnel coming to China after entry. Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has synchronously adjusted all inbound and outbound passenger flights to Terminal 2, and the entry and transit measures are fully resumed.

24-hour Direct Transit

144-hour Visa-free Transit 

Passengers transiting directly through Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for 24 hours can enjoy the policy of exemption from border inspection procedures. Eligible passengers can enjoy the 144-hour transit visa-free policy with a third-country visa and a connecting ticket to a third country (region) with a date and seat determined within 144 hours, and stay in Guangdong for 144 hours via Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. For all passengers in need, please remember to apply to the China Immigration Inspection and make good use of 144 hours to visit Guangdong and taste the delicious food paradise of Guangzhou!

Warm Reminder: Eligible passengers can go to the entry permit processing area of the Terminal 2 border inspection and entry hall of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to handle relevant formalities and then will be issued temporary entry permits according to law;

Connection Flights

One ticket to the destination service

From today, China Southern Airlines will fully resume the international and domestic connection flights transfer service at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, which is called one ticket to the destination service. Passengers can complete the boarding pass and baggage check-in procedures for the whole journey at the departure station at one time, and don’t involve baggage claim or check-in upon arrival in Guangzhou.

Warm Reminder: For passengers who transfer international to domestic flight have handled one ticket to the destination service of the boarding pass and baggage pass, please contact the staff at the transfer service counter of China Southern Airlines after handling the border entry formalities to "reconfirm customs clearance" for your checked baggage. In addition, China Southern Airlines has resumed the free transfer accommodation service for passengers with long transit waiting time. Passengers can contact the affiliated business department of China Southern Airlines directly, or call the 95539 customer service hotline for relevant services, or apply directly at the transfer service counter of China Southern Airlines at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
